Wiles Named Chief Executive Officer

 First Commerce Bank’s Board of Directors announced President Eddie Wiles, will become the Chief Executive Officer effective July 1, 2018, replacing longtime banker Bill Marsh. Marsh will remain on a part-time basis as an Executive Officer of the bank and its Chairman of the Board. “Eddie and I have worked together for over 36 years and this promotion is well deserved. He’s a fine man and my great friend and will do a tremendous job” stated Marsh. “I am honored and appreciate the confidence of the board in me to assume this role with First Commerce Bank,” Wiles said. “Since 1982 Bill and I have worked together and I couldn’t have had a more honorable and respected mentor. I value all that he has done for me and look forward to the future of our bank with our talented team of employees as we continue to serve our customers.” First Commerce Bank currently has assets of $380,000,000 and is locally owned with over 1,000 shareholders. First Commerce Bank operates two offices in Lewisburg, one in Chapel Hill and one in Fayetteville.
